Don’t take your health for granted. Too many times, it is taken away from us in a hearbeat. Car accidents, cancer, heart attacks. They all happen in an instant. One minute you are cruising along just fine. Working. Taking care of your family. Living. The next, you are fighting for your life.
So many things are out of our control. But there are a lot of things that are. We can choose to fill our bodies with healthy foods instead of junk food. We can choose to not smoke or take illegal drugs. We can choose to exercise and maintain a healthy body weight. We can choose to be the best we can be and give ourselves a fighting chance for when the battles do happen.
And, unfortunately, they will happen. All too often.
